Rajouri: Two suspicious cloth packages found lying near the wall of an Army camp near the main bus stand of Rajouri created scare in the area with Police and Army clearing the area.
However, no untoward object was found from these two packages.
Officials said that on Thursday, people moving on the road near Rajouri bus stand saw two cloth packages kept inside the main wall of an Army camp which is part of Ace of Spades Division of the Army.
“Locals informed Police after which a team of Police rushed to the spot and main road from Rajouri bus stand to Hamilton Bridge was closed,” officials said.
They said that experts from Police put these two packages to searches and found clothes packed inside and no untoward object.
Later, Quick Reaction Teams of the Army also reached the spot and dominated the area and searches were conducted.
