Ten bitten by rabid dog in J&K’s Poonch, hospitalized

Poonch Dec 21: Ten people were injured after being bitten by a rabid dog in Mandi tehsil of J&K’s Poonch district on Tuesday, officials said.

An official told Greater Kashmir that the victims belong to Jaliyan, Azamabad and Rajpora localities and were shifted to sub-district hospital Mandi with the injuries inflicted by the rabid dog this afternoon.

   

One of the victims is said to be seriously injured in the attack and has been shifted to District Hospital Poonch for specialized treatment while the hunt for the rabid dog is also going on, an official said.
