Srinagar, Dec 3: J&K Women’s football team registered its first win in the ongoing senior Women’s National football championship 2021-22 as they beat Arunachal Pradesh at EMS Corporation Stadium Kozhikode, Kerala on Friday.
In the match, J&K defeated Arunachal Pradesh by 1-0 goals. The only goal of the match was scored by Pooja Devi for J&K in the 41st minute. She was later awarded player of the match award.
It was the first win for J&K in the tournament after having suffered a defeat against Sikkim and Maharashtra.
