Mysha Kanth shines at National Pencak Silat Championship

Srinagar, Mar 27: Mysha Kanth, a 9th-grade student from Delhi Public School (DPS) in Srinagar, has brought pride to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by securing a gold medal at the 1st National Pencak Silat Championship held in Nanded, Maharashtra.

The prestigious tournament witnessed the participation of around 800 players from 25 states and Union Territories across India, showcasing the nation’s talent in this traditional Indonesian martial art form.

Mysha Kanth exhibited exceptional talent, technique, and skill, outshining her competitors to achieve success. Her remarkable performance has garnered widespread appreciation from her school, DPS Srinagar, as well as the Pencak Silat Association of the Union Territory and the J&K Sports Council.

The young athlete’s triumph at the national level is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport. Her achievement has not only brought recognition to herself but has also inspired aspiring martial artists across J&K.
