As part of the World Veterinary Day – 2019 celebrations various sports activities were organized in the picturesque hill stadium of Veterinary faculty (SKUAST Kashmir) Shuhama Alusteng, Srinagar.
The events had started on April 11. The finals of Cosco 20-20cricket and football were played on April 19. The matches were watched byhundreds of spectators including teaching and non-teaching staff and thestudents of the faculty.
In the end, 4th yearstudents bagged the winners trophy infootball defeating 2nd year students by 4-1 while as the latter won the Cosco Twenty20 defeating interns by 20 runs.
At the presentation ceremony, Dean of the faculty Prof. GNSheikh appreciated the efforts of Prof. Azad A Ahangar, Chairman Sports Committee, Dr Ajaz A Qureshi, ASWO and ConvenorSports Events, and many other young faculty members who toiled hard to make ita grand success.
Prof. G N Sheikh also promised more such activities in the faculty andwished his students excellence in life.
