Srinagar, Aug 11: As part of the ongoing week long Independence Day celebrations, the District Srinagar Badminton championship was inaugurated at Indoor Hall Polo Ground, here on Wednesday.
The championship is being organised by District Srinagar Badminton Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
Large number of players hailing from different parts of city are participating in various age groups in both male and female sections in the event.
