The Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Khurshid Ahmed Sanai on Thursday took stock of arrangements made by the Corporation in view of upcoming AmarnathYatra.
Accompanied by senior officers of the Corporation Sanaivisited Hanuman Mandir HSHS, YatriNiwas near GhantaGhar (Clock Tower),YatriNiwas near Akhada BuildingBudshahChowk and temple near Dalgate totake stock of the arrangements. The Commissioner gave on the spot directions toall the officers concerned to ensure that all necessary arrangements are put inplace before beginning of Yatra with a major focus on sanitation. Similarly heemphasized that various assistant booths/camps shall be organised at theseplaces to facilitate the devotees during Yatra days.
