Srinagar, Nov 26: Frequent traffic jams at Rawalpora bridge is taking a heavy toll on commuters.
The route assumes significance as it leads to Rangreth Industrial Estate. Commuters face a tough time to pass through the bridge due to unregulated traffic flow from Bagh-e-Mehtab and Peerbagh on the busy intersection.
“The problem is compounded as not a single traffic cop has been deputed at the vital intersection. Either traffic from intersections like Bagh-e-Mehtab and Peerbagh should be stopped during peak hours or traffic cops should be deputed at the vital stop to prevent traffic jams,” said a group of commuters.
