A man from summer capital who was stranded in Saudi Arabia due to COVID19 pandemic died at a hospital there on Tuesday.
Family sources said 87-year-old Haji Abdul Ahad Malik, a resident of Housing Colony Sanat Nagar, had gone to Saudi Arabia for Umrah pilgrimage in February.
“He was staying there with daughter and his son-in-law after the outbreak of the pandemic,” said the sources.
“Since June he was not keeping well and had been admitted to a hospital. He had tested negative for COVID19. He was asthmatic and died in the hospital. He was buried in Saudi Arabia,” they said.
