Stray dogs on prowl in KU campus

Srinagar, Dec 7: Students have expressed concern over the presence of large number of stray dogs in the Kashmir University campus here.

“We face problems to venture in the campus due to fear of dog attacks,” said Ashiq Ahmed, a research scholar at KU.

“Stray dogs are mostly present in KU playground and in Naseem Bagh area of the campus. I was attacked many times by stray dogs,” said Madeeha Dar, a student.

“We appeal KU administration and SMC to take serious note of the issue and ensure the safety of students,” they said.
