Srinagar, July 5: Police today arrested a youth for raping a minor girl here.
“One accused namely Zaid Feroz of Old Barzulla, Srinagar aged 22 years arrested for raping a 12 year old child (name withheld). The accused is a close relative of the victim girl child. FIR no 56/2023 under sections 5, 6 of POCSO act registered in Sadar PS & investigation started,” Srinagar Police tweeted.
