Residents of Shah-i-Vilayat Colony Zainakote Saturday appealed higher ups of power development department (PDD) to direct concerned officials to restore power supply to locality.
A delegation from the locality said that the area is reeling under darkness from past one week. “A PDD transformer developed some technical snag and was shifted for repairs. It has been one week now and the locality is reeling under darkness,” they said.
They said that the damaged PDD transformer is of 250kw capacity. “Our locality needs 400kw capacity transformer. We have time and again raised the matter with concerned officials, however, our pleas have fallen on deaf ears,” they said.
They appealed chief engineer PDD to direct concerned officials to restore power supply to locality forthwith.
