ACB produces charge-sheet against officials for illegal mutation of land records

Jammu, June 7: The Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Monday presented a charge-sheet before the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu against a number of officials for illegal mutation of land records.

A statement of ACB issued here said that the charge-sheet was presented under the case FIR No 16/2016 P/S VOJ (now ACB) U/S 5 (1) (d) r/w 5 (2) J&K PC Act 2006, Sec 419, 420 and 120-B RPC against the accused Charanjit Singh of House No 418 Govindpur, Jammu; Paramvir Singh of Karan Bagh Extension Jammu; Inderjeet Singh of House No 395 Ward No 4 Govindpur Chatha, Jammu; Mohinder Paul of Digiana Camp, Jammu and Shabir Ahmed Gorsi of Ashipura Shopian. The statement said that the case was registered on the written complaint lodged by Rajinder Singh, Beant Singh and Harcharan Singh, sons of late Mian Singh of Digiana, Jammu.

   

They alleged that their father owned a land measuring 10 marlas falling under Khasra No 905 min, Khata No 266, Khewat No 235 at village Deeli in Jammu and that these officials had prepared a fake and fraudulent Fard-e-Intakhab and given it to someone else in year 2012 who impersonated as their father and later transferred the ownership of the land to Sheraan Khan and Rajni Bala Mehta in league with the then Patwari Jagjeet Singh and the witnesses of the sale deed Paramvir Singh and Mahinder Pal Singh.
