After JKSC go ahead, JKFA issues notification for club registration

Srinagar, June 14: After getting a nod from the J&K Sports Council to resume its activities , the District unit of J&K Football Association (JKFA) has issued notification for registration of clubs and teams for 2021-22 season.

The J&K administration had recently given permission for holding of outdoor sports activities after being kept on hold due to a surge in Covid-19 cases. The Sports Council has already started its own activities and now the biggest sports body of J&K , JKFA is also set to kick off its activities.

   

“As the government has given permission to conduct the outdoor activities in sports, all the football clubs, teams of District Srinagar are informed to complete the registration of their teams, clubs for the year 2021-22,” JKFA statement reads.

“The registration forms will be available in the office of the Association at AbiGuzar , Srinagar from 11 am to 5pm. The registration will start from Monday June 21 and the last date of the submission of the registration forms is July 5,” the statement said.

The tournament will start immediately after the registration process is complete and all the SOP’s, government guidelines to this effect will be strictly adhered to, the statement added.
