Srinagar, June 7: Several resident of Batamaloo locality here, who are yet to be vaccinated for COVID19, have expressed surprise over receipt of vaccination certificates on their registered mobile numbers.

“There was also a link along with text in SMS. I clicked on it and saw that certificate has also been generated, showing my parents have been vaccinated, which otherwise is a wrong” he added.
Munwar Sultana, a local of Batamaloo said that vaccination process at PHC is not carried as per notified criteria”
Dr Mir Mushtaq spokesperson Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, said, “I have talked to concerned ZMO who has refused all these allegations.”
Dr Mushtaq said that vaccination centre has been shifted from PHC Batamaloo to local higher secondary school. “However, few doses have been kept there for general public.” “There are no queues for vaccination so the question of favoritism does not arise. We are open to public and they can register their grievances or complaints before CMO Srinagar, if any,” he said.
