Jammu: The Crime Branch (CB) Jammu Thursday booked the proprietors of HIRRA Consultations and Services Private Limited for fraud.
A statement of CB Jammu issued here said that it registered a criminal case of cheating under the relevant sections of law against suspects Reet Koura of 1102, Ground Floor, Sector 79 SAS Nagar Punjab and Kulvir Singh Koura of VPO Makorar Sahib, Moonak, Sangrur, Punjab, the proprietors of HIRRA Consultations and Services of SCO 509, Top Floor Sector-70, Mohali, Punjab for their involvement in defrauding the complainant of Rs 3.41 lakh on the pretext of arranging her permanent settlement in Canada under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Programme (SINP).
It said that the CB Jammu received a written complaint of Geeta Anand alleging that she wanted to settle in Canada under the SINP for which she approached HIRAA Consultation and Services that assured her that they would arrange her settlement by completing all the formalities for which she paid an amount of Rs 3.41 lakh in various installments.
