Jammu, June 7: The General Administration Department today issued a notification inviting nomination of Government employees for granting ‘Lieutenant Governor’s Award for honesty, integrity and meritorious public service.’
“The procedure for conferment of Lt Governor’s Award for Honesty, Integrity and Meritorious Public Service in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been notified,” read the notification of GAD.
It says that the awards under the scheme are announced annually on the eve of Independence Day, after scrutiny of the nominations received from concerned quarters.
Therefore, all the administrative secretaries have been requested to furnish nomination for the Lt Governor’s Award for Honesty, Integrity and Meritorious Public Service by or before July 1, 2021 alongwith bio-data inter-alia containing all the details including summary of achievements of the nominated Government employees.
