Ramban, Feb 11: Ramban police arrested a man after they recovered 20 bottles of liquor from his vehicle on Ramban –Gool road at Dhramkund on Sunday.
Police sources said on the directions of SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar a Police Party of Police Station Dharamkund intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02Y- 0705 for checking. During the search of the vehicle 20 bottles of liquor were recovered.
The driver of the vehicle, Mohammad Salim resident of Chachwa, Gool was arrested.
He was booked vide case FIR No.08 of 2024 under section 48(a) Excise Act registered at Police Station Dharamkund.
