Rajouri, Feb 11: Indian Army officers from Romeo Force interacted with prominent personalities and opinion makers of Darhal tehsil area of Rajouri district.
Army said that the meeting was an informal interaction. The issues of development of area and its people, to include infrastructure development, social welfare, education, religious harmony and important role played by army were discussed.
Civilian dignitaries lauded this confidence building measure of the Indian Army, said army.
A large number of civil society members as well as Chairman District Development Council, Naseem Liyaqit were present in the meeting with senior army officers including General Officer in Commanding, Romeo Force, attended the meeting.
