Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul Sunday visited the shrine of Dastgeer Sahab (RA) at Khanyar to pay his obeisance at the shrine and prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity of Kashmir.
A statement of BJP issued here said that Koul interacted with the Intezamia Committee of the shrine.
It said that he prayed for peace and communal harmony between the Kashmiri Muslims and Hindus.
“For ages, Muslims and Hindus have lived together with love and peace,” Koul said.
