Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad today visited several areas of the Sub Division Sumbal of the district to take firsthand appraisal of the situation arisen due to rains in the flood prone areas. The DC inspected the flood prone areas and the vulnerable banks of river Jhelum and reviewed the arrangements put in place to tackle any untoward situation.
