JKPSC declares result of JKAS-2021 prelim exams

Srinagar: The J&K Public Service Commission on Saturday declared the result of J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary), 2021 examination in which around 4544 candidates have been provisionally declared qualified for Mains exams. The JKAS prelim exam was conducted by JKPSC on October 24 this year.

“The candidates are hereby declared to have qualified for admission to the J&K Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2021,” reads a notification issued by Controller JKPSC.

However, the result of the candidates who have been allowed to appear in the examination on the directions of the Court shall be declared subject to the Court orders, it reads.

The PSC in the notification has further stated that the candidature of these candidates was purely provisional.

“In accordance with the rules of examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the online application form, for J&K Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2021,” it reads.

It further reads that a detailed notification shall be issued separately for this purpose.

“The Mains examination will tentatively be held in the first fortnight of February, 2022. Candidates can obtain information regarding their result by accessing Commission’s website www.jkpsc.nic.in,” the notification reads.

This is subject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending disposal before Court(s) of Law, it reads.
