Shaher-e-Khaas traders’ delegation calls on CE KPDCL

Srinagar, Feb 19: A delegation of traders of Downtown called on Chief Engineer (Distribution) Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) Sandeep Seth and apprised him about the problems faced by them due to unscheduled power cuts.

“We briefed him that the curtailment scheduled notified by KPDCL is not adhered to and frequent power cuts are affecting lives of people and hitting business of traders,” said Nazir Ahmad Shah, president of Shaher-e-Khaas Traders Alliance.

“We also apprised him about the need to uprgrade power infrastructure in Downtown areas. We also demanded an amnesty scheme for pending bills in Downtown. The Chief Engineer assured to look into our demands,” Shah said.
