Rajouri, Jan 6: Police in Rajouri district today arrested two drug peddlers with Charas like substance.
They were identified as Mukesh Kumar son of Sita Ram resident of Dassal and Amir Hussain son of Aslam Hussain resident of Bela Rajouri. Police said that two accused were arrested and seven Challies (rolls) of Charas like substance, weighing 110 grams was recovered from them.
The accused after interception tried to flee from spot but the police party of Police Post City Rajouri caught them on spot, police stated.
A case in FIR No.05/2024 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Rajouri and further investigation and legal proceedings into the matter is going on.
