Labour Union today lashed out at Service Selection Board for what it called the failure of the board to advertise general line teacher posts in Poonch district and warned of agitation.
Addressing a news conference here the union chairperson and others said that SSB has ignored Poonch district. ” The advertisement is cruel joke with the people of Poonch district, ” they said.
Labour Union chairperson demanded that SSB General Line Teachers advertisement should be reissued with due share of posts for Poonch or else government will have to face agitation.
Surankote youth to protest on Friday
Youth from Surankote area of Poonch district on Tuesday announced to stage protest against Service Selection Board for issuing what they called ignoring Poonch district in the recent advertisement issued for the selection of general line teachers.
A meeting of unemployed youth was held at Surankote in which local unemployed youth took part. Participants raised slogans against political representatives of the district terming their silence on the issue as an example of their carelessness.
They said that government has played with the emotions of unemployed youth of Poonch district by ignoring them.
During this meeting, youth announced to hold protest against government on coming Friday.
Meanwhile BAR association Surankote also extended its support to the protest call.
