Jammu: The government Thursday repatriated 63 lecturers, presently on deputation to Ladakh, to Jammu and Kashmir and deputed an equal number of lecturers in Ladakh.
The lecturers, being repatriated have been directed to report to School Education Department (SED) J&K for further posting after proper relieving by a competent authority in Ladakh.
Among those repatriated included a lecturer each of Computer Science, Commerce and Mathematics, eight lecturers of Botany, three lecturers of English, 19 lecturers of Urdu, five lecturers each of Zoology, Education and Chemistry, four lecturers of Economics and 11 lecturers of Physics.
Similarly, the lecturers of the SED deputed to Ladakh from their present places have been asked to report to the General Administration Department, Ladakh for further posting.
They would be entitled to incentives, which may be made available to such employees.
These officials include a lecturer each of Computer Science, EVS, Commerce, Mathematics and Music, seven lecturers including two senior lecturers of Botany, three lecturers of English, four lecturers (including a senior lecturer of Education) each of Education and Economics, five lecturers each of Zoology and Chemistry (including one in-charge and one senior lecturer of Chemistry), 11 lecturers (including four senior lecturers) of Physics and 19 lecturers (including one in-charge lecturer) of Urdu.
“Further, Irfan-ul-Islam, lecturer Functional English presently posted at GHSS Marhama, Anantnag, apportioned Ladakh vide government order No 1212-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated November 15, 2021 is hereby relieved with immediate effect with the directions to report in the GAD, Ladakh. The officers, who have been deputed to Ladakh should be deemed to have been relieved from their places of posting,” directed the GAD Commissioner.
Through a separate order, the government repatriated three officials of Skill Development Department, presently on deputation to Ladakh, to J&K while three officials were deputed to replace them in Ladakh.
