Godfrey Phillips India hands over Covid-19 aid to Police in Anantnag

Srinagar, June 7: As part of its social initiative in these crucial times of coronavirus, Godfrey Phillips India Monday presented 25,000 masks and 1000 hand sanitizers to SSP Anantnag Imtiyaz Hussam Mir to help Police to fight aggressively in the war against coronavirus.

A statement issued here said that the GPI presented this material with the idea of making people aware of the necessity of wearing masks and sanitising hands to protect themselves against the virus that has claimed lives and livelihoods.

   

The statement said that SSP ImitiyazHussain Mir, who is leading the campaign of Police in Anantnag district in the fight against the pandemic, thanked the GPI for the material and the idea behind it.

“These masks and sanitisers will be of great help in fighting the virus,” the SSP said in the statement.

It said that the GPI had been at the frontline in the fight against the virus and had been contributing protective material in various parts of the country.

The statement said that this gesture was widely appreciated by the Police in Anantnag.
