Inhabitants of Royal Lane, Kursu Padshahi Bagh appeal to PDD

We, the inhabitants of Royal Lane, Noorani Colony – B, Kursu Padshahi Bagh appeal to the Power Development Department (PDD) to upgrade the wiring of the transformer installed in the locality. The colony transformer cannot bear the load due to damaged wires and link sets connected with high tension transmission lines. The insulated connectors often catch fire due to damaged wiring. Most of the time the electricity in our locality is cut in order to save the transformer from major damages. We had taken up the matter with concerned AEE and JE of Electric Sub Division Chanapora (KPDCL) Srinagar but no action was taken to replace the damaged wiring. We make a fervent appeal to chief engineer PDD to look into the matter and direct the concerned officers to upgrade the wiring on priority.

Aspirants for forester posts await physical test, interview

We, the aspirants of forester posts, are waiting for our selection process (physical test and interview) for the last 18 years, as we had applied for the said posts in the year 2004, in response to advertisement no 03 of 2004 & 8 of 2010. It is pertinent to mention here that the said advertisements were stayed by Bsc forestry candidates, and the honourable Highcourt had given verdict in 2020, & directed JKSSB to initiate the process of selection. But JKSSB has postponed our physical test three times since 2020 due to which we are under intense stress. We are waiting for our selection process for the last 18 years, but JKSSB is still conducting exams for fresh posts and putting our future at stake. We have crossed the upper age limit couple of years ago and are not eligible now to apply for other jobs. So the JKSSB must start our selection process on a priority basis. We now appeal to the Honourable LG to direct authorities to resolve our grievance at the earliest.

Redress grievance of EWS apsirants from Bandipora

We, the EWS aspirants of tehsil Bandipora, are facing a lot of difficulties in acquiring our EWS certificates. We qualify all the requisite parameters laid down by concerned higher authorities for availing EWS certificate. Furthermore, concerned pathwaris, gardawars, naib tehsildars had also given consent after spot verification, which took us a couple of months. But when we have submitted our files Tehsil office, Bandipora, they got rejected. Pertinently, there are three parameters laid down by concerned authorities for acquiring an EWS certificate, I.e Income should be below 8 lakh per anum, land should be less than 5 acres and the residential area should be less than 6.5 Malras. But the said officer has no understanding regarding the third parameter (residential flat). It is the third parameter that the authorities are using to reject our application. We have applied for jobs in various recruiting agencies, on EWS basis, but because we are unable to receive the certificate, we are under serious stress.

We now fervently appeal to concerned higher authorities, especially Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir and Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, to look into the matter and resolve our grievances at the earliest.
