Jingle Bells, Baand Paether and Snow: Gulmarg Enthralls Visitors

The world famous ski resort of Gulmarg which lost much of its sheen to the global pandemic Covid19, bounced back to business this Christmas thanks to timely snowfall. In a bid to attract tourism, tourism department organized cultural shows like traditional ‘Baand Paether” on Christmas eve. Folk singers dressed in traditional dresses playing the folk music were the centre of attraction throughout the day.
